Following a long-standing, collaborative relationship with the Dales Motor Group, Classic Builders was appointed to manage the comprehensive rebranding and facility upgrade of their Scorrier site. The primary objective of this project was transitioning the showroom from its traditional SEAT branding to the premium, high-performance CUPRA identity. Situated right next to the critical A30 commercial corridor near Redruth, this family-run facility operates as an official new and used car dealership, featuring a vehicle showroom alongside a high-tech workshop for advanced diagnostics, vehicle servicing, and MOT testing.
The extensive rebranding project required a blend of high-end, front-of-house architectural finishes and complex internal structural conversions. A key challenge of the brief involved transforming an active, noisy workshop area into a high-specification professional office suite, while maintaining live site operations and ensuring zero disruption to the daily customer experience.
The completed project successfully delivered a heavily modernised, comfortable hub for the dealership’s staff and leadership teams. The internal footprint now features bespoke executive offices, integrated meeting rooms, and extensive Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) upgrades. These upgrades include energy-efficient LED lighting systems, integrated digital projector facilities for corporate presentations, and updated employee welfare amenities designed to enhance the daily workplace environment.
To precisely align the facility with the sharp, contemporary CUPRA brand aesthetic, the construction team executed a premium internal fit-out. This involved installing brand-new acoustic ceiling grids, high-performance insulated windows and architectural doors, and sleek, durable flooring finishes.
From a structural engineering perspective, the team formed a new, significantly wider opening within the building’s core. Supported by heavy-duty steel structural beams, this opening now allows seamless vehicle entry directly into the main showroom. Additionally, the team constructed a dedicated, well-lit Customer Handover Bay, designed explicitly to elevate the premium brand experience for new buyers. By successfully navigating tight live-site constraints and intricate structural engineering complexities, Classic Builders ensured a seamless transition to a sophisticated, future-proof facility with zero operational delay.
This beautifully modernised facility provides a warm, inspiring hub where staff can thrive, and where customers can discover the future of driving in comfort and style.
