Classic Builders was appointed to construct a brand-new, state-of-the-art corporate headquarters for LTC Group 87, a well-known and highly respected provider of scaffolding and powered access solutions across the South West.

Situated in a secluded and strategically advantageous location on the outskirts of Plymouth, the new development serves as a modern corporate hub and operational home to one of the company’s most significant and high-performing commercial profit centres, providing a strong foundation for the business.

The architectural design of the striking three-storey detached office building blends structural durability with a sleek, contemporary aesthetic. Constructed utilising a robust structural steel frame, the building’s envelope features a high-performance external skin composed of traditional brickwork paired with modern, powder-coated cladding panels. To maximise natural light and ensure long-term operational efficiency, commercial powder-coated aluminium glazing was integrated throughout the design. This high-specification window package beautifully complements the external facade while delivering an exceptionally low-maintenance solution for the building’s owners, protecting the facility from the coastal elements of the Plymouth area.

Inside, the three-storey layout was designed and fitted out to foster an engaging, healthy, and highly productive workplace for the LTC team. The expansive floor plates accommodate multiple cellular offices, spacious executive meeting rooms, and collaborative workstations, all supported by a high-speed fibre-optic internet infrastructure. Balancing corporate functionality with employee well-being, the building also boasts dedicated breakout areas and a vibrant staff games room. Modern conveniences are integrated seamlessly across all floors, including an advanced electronic climate control system for optimal thermal comfort, a high-specification passenger lift to ensure full building accessibility, and energy-efficient LED lighting systems. Classic Builders worked closely with a select group of client-nominated and specialist subcontractors to execute the highly technical internal fit-out and complex mechanical and electrical (M&E) installations.

The successful handover delivered a flagship commercial asset that provides LTC Group 87 with an inspiring, future-proofed workplace that elevates their brand presence.
